Before Him, God only spoke to certain people
God was never living inside anyone in the Old Testament. Although this would be His ultimate plan, which Paul describes as the ‘mystery’ (Colossians 1:27), it could not have happened before the Holy Spirit came on earth at Pentecost. Of course, we know that Jesus was the first man of such a calibre, with the Holy Spirit in Him. Before Him, God only spoke to certain people, audibly and His glory occupied the tabernacle/ the Ark of the Covenant (Exodus 25:10 ; Hebrews 9:4) that were built, by anointed men under the instruction and design of God.
Many of the practices that we see in the religions of the world were as a result of what people read and misconstrued in the Old Testament. Even secret societies boast of their use of the Bible. Many of the aforementioned religions have the concept of a physical entity, built by man, housing ‘god’. They believe that ‘god’ has to be channeled from outside, in, and can be housed in a physical, man – made box/building. This diametrically opposes YaHWeH GOD, Who works from the inside out of born – again man, today. It supports the reason why the bible must be read by born – again believers, who will let the Holy Spirit show them the written word of God captured in the Bible which itself also contains words and behaviours that God tells us not to do. Many initiators of false religions searched the Bible and found the behaviours and practices that grieved God and made them their doctrines and call it ‘GOD’.
His temple is not made by man’s hand as it was in the Old Covenant
Having a statue of an idol or a temple where ‘a spirit’ occupies, is not Jehovah God’s design (Deuteronomy 4: 28; Psalm 115 :4 – 8). His temple is not made by man’s hand as it was in the Old Covenant, before man’s redemption came through Jesus Christ. The truth is, even then, when the Ark of the Covenant and the Temple were built, they were done by men specifically chosen by and empowered by God, who would follow everything God said. They could not have made them otherwise.
The enemy has filled the people with agendas to rule the world with ideas that they can do better than God. Babel was a depiction of that ideology that a group of people can create above God’s ability. Such principles are still feeding the agenda today.
However, all that aside, God’s temples are made by Love, with Love, in Love, to Love and for Love.
His temples are His Masterpiece.
