God's Masterpiece – A blog about Life in Christ

Instead, we grow in knowledge.

Research and Development (R & D) are very central parts of human existence and have been a valued and trusted aspect of advancement in life. I believe it comes from the truth that revelation is progressive (Daniel 12:4) and that we won’t just arrive to an all-knowing status at one time or whilst we are on earth. Instead, we grow in knowledge. Undoubtedly, we know that human beings (through the fall of Adam) have an innate prejudice(Gen 6:5; John 2:25), and as such all research must be assessed objectively prior to making them the “gospel” of forward movement. If decisions are made upon research that are designed upon wrong premises, then we can see why the whole world is in such deep trouble. Of course, we know that this is not the sole reason for the state of the world as we see it.

It is a fact that a number of plans in our nations have been made based on biased, falsified research and we are seeing the consequences of that even now, and unfortunately this will continue. The last three to four years demonstrated a climax of such principles – research gone wrong.

We experienced that a decision to impose a health intervention of an experimental nature has resulted in deathly effects, the full extent of which is still being calculated. For centuries robust R&D in health has produced excellent drugs, vaccinations and other medicines that have saved many lives. Technology did not circumvent the robustness required when it comes to producing substances meant for the human body, especially those that are intended to affect the very micro – cellular aspect of the body. Human beings then were seen as too precious to make such decision in R&D. People still saw people as God’s precious creations to be protected at all costs and do no harm.

Technology, according to the “experts”, was a justifiable rationale to change the robust nature of R&D for producing a public health intervention in a pandemic. Technology was lauded for reducing the time, in fact, for removing the need for stringent measures in testing the substance thoroughly before human consumption or invasion. Technology determined that the human being was no longer precious and should be protected. So much for human rights!! All guards were lowered and untruths became the order of the day. The experts and the professionals became trusting of the producers and forgot about protocol – robust, scientific schedule is mandatory in R & D for such substances. The results of this continue to be debilitating and cruel.

2 Timothy 2:15 (AMP)

Study (Research) and do your best to present yourself to God approved, a workman [tested by trial] who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth.

Unfortunately, this could be repeated in the future, because too many have neglected to question whether or not the reasons are deliberate or genuine human error. This can and has already concretized a new, unscientific, immoral, deadly way to approach drug research, so much so that all that one needs is to do a test on 8 mice and get approval from the deciding agency. Here is where séance has taken over. I remember when I was a little girl living in the rural parts of Jamaica, there was always a tendency for the country folks to say “science” instead of “séance” when referring to witchcraft. In the context of what transpired during the mayhem of the last four years, we will not be mistaken with the word choice of séance instead of science.

It was a bewildering experience to hear so many in the field of academia, non – researchers I imagine, who accepted the short cut to research, simply on the premise of the narrative – “advancement in technology has caused development of these things to be faster.” The very developers and the agency in charge had a research schedule on their website stating when the research phase will be completed. The date – 2024, three years after the invasion. The development at historic speed does not negate the experimentation process and leaders and stakeholders understood and respected the value and purpose of the research process, but not the human soul. The experiment certainly took place and is still taking place. I am certain this is the first of its kind, whereby the experiment took place concurrently with the sale and consumption of the product. This technology could certainly exponentially increase the bottom line for companies’ profits. Is this the new way for R & D? Is this the epitome of the scripture:

“The love of money is the root of all evil?” (1 Timothy 6:10)

If only man would listen to the Word of God which tells us that it is foolish to put our trust in man

I am of the strong opinion that every student at college should have to enroll in a research studies course in order to graduate. Of course, with all that said, the ideologies being pushed in colleges are interlaced with vague words and circumvoluting types of statements which effectually say absolutely nothing. Majority of persons will just yield themselves to the notion that since their speech is with enticing words, whether they understand them or not, they are the experts and everyone should just do as they say. I imagine that this is the belief of one self – appointed agency that would like to control all nations’ health care and public health policies and actions.

If only man would listen to the Word of God which tells us that it is foolish to put our trust in man. God knew the evil things being planned by men and warned us emphatically in Jeremiah 17: 5 – 8 – “cursed is the man that puts his trust in man……blessed is the man…..”

The reports are coming in – the consequences of trusting in man as God. However, as we pray, believing, all these can be changed.

We were made to trust in God, Who has made us to be His masterpiece. No man, money or technology can make us that way.

Only Jesus can!
