We are living in the best of times and the worst of times. The greatest outpouring of God’s Glory that man has seen is happening all around us and yet the most evil and absurd things are taking place at the same time. This is not surprising though, because the Bible said in 2 Timothy 3: 1 –
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
God also promised in Habakkuk 2:14 that:
But [the time is coming when] the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
As my gaze is presently set on the status of the USA elections and the attitude of Christians leading up to it, I am absolutely amazed at the level of scriptural and national ignorance that pervades that group. The level of religion has stifled the body so much so that the same God they profess as being absolutely good, is the same ‘God’ they say is ‘pro-choice’. This is no play on words, as some would like us to pander to. When that term is used it has the most evil agenda exposed by its synonymous term, pro-abortion. Therefore when a Christian claims that ‘God’ is pro -choice, you must ask the question: “which god?” I believe it is blasphemous, to say the least. There is absolutely no aspect of Jehovah Jireh, Yahweh God, that would support abortion.
Many like to say that there are cases of the mother being at risk and necessitates such an action. I say that is absolutely not true. Yahweh God is not in support of that either because He made the child in the womb and He certainly knows how to heal and protect both child and mother. The condition is simply an acknowledged limitation of the medical community and not a plan of God. Such a plan, if His, would have rendered Him a limited god Who doesn’t know what is what. That actually characterizes the ‘god’ of this world and not Almighty God.
GOD IS HOLY
Everything contrary to the holiness of God is heavily promoted by the world. God is holy; the world is not. For those who do not spend time to know Him and His ways, there is a little cue: find out what the world system is pushing, and do the opposite. This ought to be the cue for voting as well, assuming that you are voting Godliness. There is no way a Christian should be saying “I do not know who to vote for.” Just that statement alone gives away the quality or lack thereof of his/her spiritual walk with the Holy Spirit, Who Jesus said, “He will come and He will reveal all truths.” However, religion and intellect can absolutely hinder His revelation and as such, we are sadly seeing Christians marching to the polls saying “god is pro-choice” and “Jamaicans for Harris, 2024.” The worst one is “evangelicals for Harris.”
How did they get there? Deception, laziness and lack of time praying in the Spirit and reading the Word, and for some, it is just plain rebellion and hate. All one has to do is look at what each person stands for in their policies and compare with the Word of God. It is very clear.
As a very famous evangelist loves to say, “you have to be so open minded, your brains are falling out.”
Remember the Lord God Who brought you out of darkness into the Light of His dear Son and has made you the light of the world and the salt of the earth.
Be that light and salt you were made to be, by Christ in you.
Choose life at the polls. That is what God has commanded you to do.
