Why do the heathen rage and imagine vain things?
These are the best days ever! The closer we get to the return of Christ, or as we term it in Church, the Rapture, knowledge increases but so does sin. Do you know what increases as well? Grace and the knowledge of the glory of God covering the earth. The latter increases at a greater rate and greater amount than the sin because the bible tells us that:
“God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant.”
God’s wonderful grace or His wonderful glory is His presence, power and goodness. God is Creator and He is the Great I AM and through Jesus’ sacrifice at the cross, all of God’s glory is available for the good of mankind, even in the face of rising evil.
Why is evil rising?
The devil knows he has limited time to deceive mankind and draw them with him to his place of permanent doom. The other name for this place is called hell! Many people want to keep their heads up in the cloud and deny that there is a hell, but Jesus talked about it and he went there. He knows it. He created it for the devil but unfortunately people have made a decision to purchase a one way ticket to go there with the devil for eternity. They have no idea what will hit them once they get there. But God knows and He is relentless in reaching people to encourage them not to make that choice. He sent Jesus to go there instead of us so that He would defeat him which had a hold on us, and after Jesus did that, He was risen with the victory and told us to “abide in Him” so that we would be protected from an eternity with the defeated one. He is the only road to eternity with the Father, which is the purpose of our being.
This is not a natural transaction;
It is not a national transaction;
It is not a philanthropic transaction;
It is not a cultural transaction;
It is not a debate either.
This is a request of a spiritual transaction which requires that we do as Jesus said in John 17, where He clearly defined eternal life :
2 Just as You have given Him power and authority over all mankind, [now glorify Him] so that He may give eternal life to all whom You have given Him [to be His—permanently and forever]. 3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true [supreme and sovereign] God, and [in the same manner know] Jesus [as the] Christ whom You have sent.
7Now they have known that all things whatsoever Thou hast given Me are of thee.
8 For I have given unto them the words which Thou gavest Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from Thee, and they have believed that Thou didst send Me.
These are really important times and many have chosen to hold on to cultural concepts and ideologies over the pursuit of eternal life – to know the Father through Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Who is also God and not an angel or just a prophet sent by God. Too many people are choosing to hold on to ‘knowledge’ that will be destroyed as opposed to the knowledge that is permanent. This is the knowledge of the Truth, Who is Jesus the Christ. What would it benefit anyone to save their intellectual hide and die unto eternal damnation and torture, than to count it all as dung, for the knowledge of the truth?
Many have chosen to believe a lie that they have been indoctrinated into, that keeps them unable to come into the knowledge of the Truth, in such a way that oppression has become the new freedom for many. This what God calls “a square peg in a circle”. This is an ill-fit and too many people are still ill-fitted. The square peg is the demonic spirit that has taken up residence in the unsaved person but that place was made for God to fit perfectly in. Fortunately, a square-peg in a circle leaves spaces for God to access by sending His fitted people, the Church, to take Him to all the world and make disciples of all men. The hope is that all who hear Christ preached, would make the choice to receive the One Who is to perfectly fit in a person’s spirit and eject the square peg. This is the missing piece to complete the MASTERPIECE creation that we are to be, now!
It is time to reject and eject the square-peg, and be properly fitted with the Spirit of God, Who saved us from eternal damnation in hell and instead makes us MASTERPIECES unto ETERNAL LIFE!
