What does it mean when one says “Christ is King?”
Those of us who are members of the Body of Christ, became members by grace, through faith, in Jesus Christ, believing that His shed blood cleansed us from all sin and made us new, by Christ living in us. We did NOT get this status through anything that we did – it was all Jesus’ doing. Our salvation came by our accepting and believing all that Jesus did. We have to accept and receive it – babies can’t do that, by the way.
This Jesus, is the same Jesus who was born a JEW(meaning of the tribe of Judah), an Israelite. This same Jesus after He was risen, installed 12 foundation Apostles, all from the nation of Israel, to start the Church. Saul, who later became Paul, is another foundation Apostle chosen by Jesus – whether he is the 12th or 13th is not very important to the context of this blog. The Church is the Body of Christ, One Body, which includes people from all over the world including those who come from the tribe of Judah…..Jesus’ earthly lineage….JEWS who call Israel their home. The Church is made up of saints/kings/lords, words that define God’s children. These names are not man-determined names for people that men assess as worthy of the titles. These are names that God has given to all who belong to His kingdom, no matter what family lineage we were naturally born into. Once we are born again, our lineage is defined by Jesus’ lineage – Christ in us.
JESUS Who is coming back as the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Revelations 5:5). He is Who is KING of kings and LORD of lords. He is KING and LORD; He is Almighty GOD. This means His earthly reign will be in Jerusalem. To confirm this continuation, the bible makes plain reference to His next coming to earth to rule as the Lion of the tribe of JUDAH. This coming is after He comes on a cloud to Rapture the Church and take us to Heaven for a period to the marriage supper. This coming is His return to planet earth to rule and reign with the saints/the church/His bride/those who call Him KING and LORD. His feet will touch the same place from where He took off, first. That place is called JERUSALEM which is in Israel (Zechariah 14:1 – 14; Acts 1: 9 – 12). The same Israel that Christians who say “Christ is King’ are promoting its hate and demise through anti-semetic chants and podcast contents. These are Christians who are ignorant of biblical knowledge and continue from day to day to spill hatred about a nation whom God made promises to through Abraham. The same nation where the King of kings and LORD of lords was born into earth to save us all.
ISRAEL’S BIRTH
God did not choose Israel because they were perfect in their doings and did everything holy and perfectly. Israel did not become a nation only when the UN said so. The UN is not God and they do not own the earth. Israel became a nation when God selected them out of Abraham’s loins, through Isaac and Jacob(Israel), and made that declaration to Abraham way back in Genesis. When He made the promise to Abraham, He outlined the LAND where His people Israel would live. He did not take back the land from them. They were to fight battles with the defiled, demonized humans, and take back the land that God delineated very clearly and consistently for them. That land mass is the current area where UN recognizes as Israel, but it is a whole lot smaller than what God spoke and told them to take. God does not and will not change His mind. The whole land is Israel’s and God is against the enemies of that nation, as He is against the enemies of the Church.
God fashioned a people and separated them out of the human race that had become so defiled with demons, they were unrecognizable as His creation. The whole world of humans needed a Saviour. He committed to them to keep them pure through blood sacrifices, so that He would have an ‘un-defiled’ lineage in which He would place Jesus, the Lamb of God, Who would come to save the world and re-create a new human race. The nation was not obedient and committed, and the evidence of that is still being seen, but that did not change God’s mind about them. They too are to choose to come under the Blood of Jesus and be washed and born again in order to come into the Kingdom. But the natural promises of the land and protection that God made to them through Abraham continues and He will never withdraw His promises. He makes these same promises to His Church. Even more, God has commanded us to pray for them (Psalm 122) to see them saved (Romans 11:26) in the same way people from their nation prayed for us, non-Israelites, to be saved.
There would be no Church if it weren’t for Israel.
This is not just ‘spiritual’ Israel(Zion) as some people put it. Spiritual Israel (The Church) started in the nation of Israel, where Jesus the Saviour lived and died and was resurrected and ascended into Heaven. In the land of Israel are many peoples – not all Israel(nation) is of Israel (God’s people as per the promise the Abraham, Isaac and Jacob), but the land of Israel is indwelled by the original Israel lineage (Romans 8:9). This does not negate the nation in much the same way every nation has peoples and tribes from other places. He is protective of this land (where He lived and will come again to)and since He is, who are you to be contradicting Him?Are you more righteous than He? Are you holier than He is? What God does and says are PERFECT. It would suit us to bless what He says to bless and condemn the activities of those who hate what He blesses.
Christians are not in agreement with any other religion outside of Christianity, including Judaism and Islam.
This does not mean we agree with their political choices or Judaism as is promoted now to deny Jesus. In the same way many nations are in the same position but we pray for all, nonetheless. We all belong to nations where the politics is contrary to the Word of God, but we know that the earth is a fallen one now and sin is still on earth. That is why we are called to go into all the world and make disciples. That is what Israelites(Jews or otherwise) did for us and brought us into the family of God. We are to do the same to those who live there and need to be saved.
He would ultimately keep this lineage and graft in the people (Gentiles or non-Israelites) who were naturally outside of this lineage, but who would choose to be washed in His Blood and be saved. He trained His people, 12 of them, the very first CHRISTIANS or CHURCH MEMBERS all came from ISRAEL. From Israel nation, the Gospel of Jesus Christ was birthed and preached to non-Israel and they became Christians, one Church. The Apostles formed the foundation of the Church, the ones who call JESUS CHRIST, KING and LORD. The Church means God’s children and it has the same meaning as God’s people used in the old testament, which was Israel. Do you really think God would support anti-Christ agendas to destroy this nation or have them sit by and do nothing to protect themselves?
To call Him KING is one thing, but LORD is another. To call Him LORD is to honour exactly what He says and what He wills. He wills that we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, because He is coming back right there. He is not coming back to Muslim – ruled state, because their doctrine is in complete detest for Jehovah God and Jesus as God. He is coming back to the land which He promised to the Israelites then and now and what He promises He keeps.
As a Christian, you ought to know that the devil fights hardest, what He knows God says. Which nation do you know is fought harder than any other? Shouldn’t that prompt you to get a clue and learn of His plans and will regarding Israel? Why would the devil be fighting his own agenda? He only fights against God’s agenda. So don’t you think it is time you stop being self righteous about what you perceive to be peace and love and seek the Lord and King Jesus on His definition of both and His will for Israel?
I believe empty barrels do make the most noise and people who love to hear themselves and their opinions over God’s are the loudest talkers. It is time to stop making such a display of ignorance and self righteousness and be a mouthpiece for God. Use your platform to promote God’s agenda and not your own. That means letting the Holy Spirit teach you all truths and not a twisted form of Agape love taught in religious, orthodox assemblies of old who have very corrupt doctrines and who do not preach the doctrine of the Apostles which is the doctrine of Jesus Christ – KING and LORD GOD.
