The Gen Zs are very awake – Gen ‘Zealers’
There is such a mighty expansive and rapid move of God across the earth now, it is hard to keep up. What is so special about this move is that it is among the young people, socially called the Gen Zers. They are hungering for the Truth. There is an awakening and it is breathtaking.
I have prayed for our young people to be “taught of the Lord” because I believe they are the ones to usher in the return of our Lord Jesus. This makes the generation a very pivotal one. I think the use of the letter Z always had my ears perked up because it is associated with Zs meaning sleepy. Many have characterized them as “slower” than previous generations and that would be consistent with the label Z.
However, the true definition given by the personnel who coined this term, conveys some very uplifting and defining features and it is a God – move that we are seeing these features coming alive in this era. One of them is the quest for truth. Gen Zers are defined by their quest for truth and are less ‘self’ oriented than the previous generation. These are very opportunistic features for evangelism. Jesus told us to go ye into all the world and make disciples of all men. There is a generation desiring truth and as members of the body of Christ, we know there is only one Truth and through prayers and intercession, this generation has been stirred up to want truth, the Truth.
What will we do about this? We must be willing to know the Truth and share the Truth. Unfortunately, a lot of weird doctrines have infiltrated the body of Christ and have resulted in many having not knowing the truth. They have denied the Truth in so many areas that they no longer can portray the Truth, Christ, and the Gen Zers have zoomed into this and they don’t want the spoiled doctrine. They want Truth. Only the Truth will make you free. They are by-passing traditional churches because they are searching for the Truth and too many of those institutions have stifled that which the young people are seeking. The stifling needs to change as a matter of urgency. It is a matter of life and death in these times.
I just heard a comment coming from a polling that 77% of teenagers in America are interested in learning about Christ and in the UK, 2 times more young persons are less likely to be atheistic than their parents. This is a far cry from what the woke ideologists indicated when they promoted the narrative that a significant percentage of young people wanted gender change, for example. If this was in fact the case, we certainly have the evidence now of a powerful miracle. Thank You Jesus! You have totally turned this around and they are searching for their Maker instead of the ‘Mutilator’. Praise the Lord!
So what does God do now? He breaks out revivals on college campuses across the world and that has produced a wave beyond what we could ask or think or imagine. Praise the Lord! The video below says it all!
Gen Zealers are zealous for God and they will be doing some mighty work on the earth just in time for the return of Jesus. What will we be doing in this season? Let Truth come alive in 2025!
