What happens when truth is called false and evil is called good, and vice versa?
During the C19 pandemic, many things were twisted and people actually called the era the ‘new norm’. Now whilst that was not my new norm, because as a child of God, my norm is Jesus, it has become very clear that the characteristic of TWISTED had in fact become the new norm for the world and many Christians. The evidence is clear. We were warned of this in the bible (Isaiah 5:20, Matthew 24, Romans 2 and 2 Timothy 3). These warnings were not encouragement for the Body of Christ to join such people. Instead, God warned us so we would choose to follow the ways that would keep us out of such behaviour. Sometimes I wonder if people believe the former over the latter.
Mis – information and Mal – information
What was twisted about that C19 period? Truth was denounced as misinformation and the latest term, mal-information. Good was rationalized as evil; love was seen as hate and vice versa. Unfortunately, this is so much so of the reality for a group of indoctrinated, politically-affiliated people that reasoning with them has become so difficult, it borders on impossible. The wonderful thing is what is naturally impossible with man, is possible with God, so by the Holy Spirit, I pray for revelation and transformation for Christians who refuse to believe according to what has been revealed to me according to 2 Corinthians 4:4 –
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
The extent of this was brought to my attention when my Christian friend and dentist, blocked me from her phone on the day that the results of the US elections of 2024 were announced. Fellowship and oneness in the faith became evil in support of what God had rejected. What God hated in the policies of the party that lost, was what people, including Christians loved.Yes, Christians are defining evil as good and good as evil. This is twisted. So what can be expected of the world? In Romans 10 :14 – 15, the question is asked:
14How then can they call on the One in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach? 15And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
The body of Christ is called to preach Christ to all the world but if we are busy being blinded by the god of this world, what will the members have to preach except the doctrines of the devil? But God always has a remnant who will not bow their knees to Baal. I thank God for such a people. I pray that the rest of the Body will come to that place of revelation soon enough, for their sake and that of their loved ones.
I choose to not get twisted. I choose to be a member of the remnant. This is the call on my life.
The world needs a people who will not bow to the ‘twistedness’ but will instead SWITCH to allow Jesus to live out through us and cover the earth with the knowledge of the Glory.
Choose the SWITCH and not the TWIST!
